Goals & Resolutions for the New Year

Updated: Dec 22, 2022

Like every year I have compiled a list of my resolutions/goals that I really want to achieve. This year is a little different because I have goals for both my personal life and for my blog. I will separate this post between the 2 and give a little detail about each goal. Due to knowing myself I have given myself 4 goals for each aspect of my life, that way I know that it is somewhat attainable.

Let's dive in!

Blog Goals for 2021

1- Get More Subscribers

I have said for the last year that I want to really grow this site into something bigger and to do that I need more subscribers. I have been extremely grateful to all the subscribers I have now and I want to build on that.

So if you haven't subscribed yet please do, and share this with your friends.

2- Having 2-3 Giveaways

I love doing giveaways and this year will be no different. I will be doing things differently this year but I hope to be able to do 2-3 by December of this year.

3- Getting Better at Youtube

Something that I have really enjoyed over the last year has been making youtube videos. So this year I really want to get better at creating videos and get on a better schedule.

4- Keep on schedule for Pinterest & trying to for Instagram

I really tried at the end of last year to get on a schedule for Instagram and Pinterest and this year I really want to get way better at it. I want to make sure that I don't let it lapsease I have been.

Personal Goals for 2021

1- Weight Loss

This year I really want to be able to make some progress on my weight loss goal. I got started on it last year but I kind of lost steam and plateaued.

2- Healthy Eating/ Being more adventurous with food

Yes, I have been vegan for the past couple of years but that doesn't necessarily translate to healthy. I really want to be able to try and cook something completely new every week. I want to really limit my "bad" food intake, like chips and cookies etc. I plan on being really strict however I will still allow myself to have treats every so often.

3- Read More Books

Last year with the way that my mental health was I didn't really read a lot so this year my goal is 2-3 books a month if not more. I know that it is a lofty goal but I read fast so it is easily attainable for me.

4- Save Money

This is a big one for me, and it is the one goal I know I am going to struggle with but it is also the one goal I am determined to meet. I don't have an amount goal yet but I am simply wanting to save.

So those are my goals for this year. Have you made resolutions or goals for this year?

Have an awesome day :)
