Book Series in A Nutshell

Today's post is going to be about my favorite book series. There are two series that are my absolute favorites. I will try to explain each one as well as what books are in the series. If you want to know more about the authors mentioned here please check out my previous post My Favorite Writers.
The Plantagenet and Tudor Series: Philippa Gregory
This series is all about the Plantagenet ruling family which preceded the Tudor ruling family which is also included in this series. I have always had a penchant for anything European history and I love this series. The first book of Philippa Gregory's that I was introduced to was The Other Boleyn Girl and that started my love of Philippa Gregory as an author.
The series includes the following books which you can also find at Philippa Gregory's website, to find reading order and all of her other books.
- The Lady of the Rivers
- The White Queen
- The Red Queen - The Kingmaker's Daughter
- The White Princess
- The Constant Princess
- The King's Curse
- Three Sister's, Three Queens
- The Other Boleyn Girl - The Boleyn Inheritance
- The Taming of the Queen
- The Queen's Fool
- The Virgin's Lover
- The Last Tudor
- The Other Queen
The Malory-Anderson Series: Johanna Lindsey
My second favorite series in the Malory-Anderson series. These books are based during the early 19th century. The books follow the Malory and Anderson families, these are historical romance and have been widely viewed as controversial but I love them.
The series includes the following books, you can also find more of her books at her official publisher page; Simon & Schuster.
- Love Only Once
- Tender Rebel
- Gentle Rouge
- The Magic of You
- Say You Love Me
- The Present - A Loving Scoundrel
- Captive of My Desires
- No Choice But Seduction
- That Perfect Someone
- Stormy Persuasion
- Beautiful Tempest
I hope that this post brings you to find a new book or even a new series that you will love.
Do you have a favorite series? If so what is it? I am always on the lookout for new books to try and am always open to suggestions.
