Dear Future Me,

Updated: Sep 24, 2020

Dear Future Me,

You are now 30 years old.

This letter was written on the back end of a horrible 6 months. You have put up a fight these past few months, between falling so far into depression that you didn't think you would ever find a way out to changing you career path and deciding to go back to school. You are so brave and you have put up the biggest fight to get whatever you want. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to experience joy. Those are two things that the me from now would not necessarily agree with but I know that it is true. Music has been your escape while you were having all these horrible thoughts and you have been able to use it to dig yourself out of the huge hole that you jumped into this year.

I hope that you have finished school and decided that you can do whatever you want and that if you put in a little bit of hard work you can have a big reward. Fight your way to what you want and you will be happy.

I hope you are where you wanted to be and that you are enjoying your life now and not worried about everything. I hope that you have traveled and experienced some of the things that you have always wanted like travelling the world, or even actually publishing your book. Don't let the fear of the unknown hold you back if you haven't done it yet. Fear is only a response to the unknown, fear doesn't have to limit what you do. Try to accomplish all that you can before retiring because you never know what your life will be like that far down the road.

Love,

Younger Me

This letter will also be sent to myself in six years time via the website FutureMe. I challenge each of you to send one to yourself as well. You can send them on specific dates, or 1-3 or 5 years down the road.

Hope you enjoyed today's post

See you next time :)
